Eric Barker Says Self-Employed People Have All the Money

5th Oct 2014

Some folks here at Dedicated DB have found a blog called “Barking Up the Wrong Tree” useful for personal motivation. The misleading title is a play on the author’s name: Eric Barker. And his content hangs from the right tree: Great ideas about keeping our own self-leadership mindsets sharp

  • You lead others better (including clients!) when you learn to lead yourself more effectively, and Eric shares great resources to help each of us do that better. Here is an example.
  • If you want to understand and relate better to successful people, Eric helps us understand who they are, and their habits and mindsets. Here is an example. It is clear that high-income, self-employed people are a profitable group for advisors: They have a lot of income ready to be converted to wealth!

Who doesn’t want to get more done in less time?

Who doesn’t want to get into the minds of potential clients?

We found this blog useful for achieving both goals. Check it out, and let us know how useful you find Mr. Barker’s blog.
